I decided to learn the craft of fiction writing, after years of technical writing for health care, writing spiritual essays and dabbling in poetry.

I am a retired registered nurse, mother of three women who intrigue and teach me from their distant lives in Juneau AK, San Francisco CA, and Austin TX.  Grandchildren live in Juneau and Texas, and a step granddaughter in Michigan. 

My husband and I live on a small acreage in the Pacific Northwest. He is a semi-retired Mechanical Engineer, a consultant in  the Hydro Power Industry. He keeps our modest acreage looking like a park, grows a fine garden to provide fresh fruit and produce, and his hunting skills stock the freezer for winter.
