LOVE

 

Every breath shows Life is there ...

Surrounding us and everywhere ...

Giving, taking, teaching, sharing ...

Always feeling Life's great caring,

Within, without, a love unmeasured...

We the children each are treasured.

 

May suffering dim and quickly pass

As we sojourn in Life's great class,

Unseen pruning, fixing, healing ...

And within the great love sealing...

Life's work done within our heart ...

So always we remain a part

Of e're Great Plan, in each man’s world

As souls approach Life's love unfurled ...

 

Discovery pure, like fish in water

We live in God, just like a daughter

Or a son.  In God’s great life.

Unneeded is the drum and fife

Of religious task and rule

Indeed, we can be wise or fool.

The growth just happens, set in motion

Discovered, then becomes devotion.

 

Lotus flower petals glow

As we yield, designed to grow

Toward a pure heart, love is done ...

                      Can God and we be truly one?
